The planet Niyrata is the center of the United Galactic Counsel. There are nine planets in the Counsel and nine embassy cities representing them in Niyrata.

Dr Quon, an expert in robotics, is raised from sleep to respond to warships, of unknown origin, that are looming over the planet. They are escorted by a gigantic robot. Their world is not the only one under attack. All nine planets of the UGC are as well, each facing an armada like the one attacking Niyrata.

The giant robot eyes turn red and a ferocious blast comes from its eyes. All red and smoke.

A robot, that looks like a young boy of about 8, named Tim-21, on the moon of Dirishu-6, awakens alone ten years after the disaster. He finds everyone on the moon base dead and decayed.

After searching the base, he finds another small companion robot named Bandit. The boy finds the communications hub and is deluged with an onslaught of news reports about the tragedies of ten years ago.

The giant attacking robots were given the nickname of “Harvesters”. Immediately following their simultaneous attacks on all nine planets of the UGC, they immediately vanished.

The attacks were focused on humans, sparing robots. In response, people now hate robots. The boy is afraid.

Back on Niyrata, Dr Quon is escorted by officials to help again with the response to the Harvesters. He professes a theory that every robot has a codex that identifies them like DNA. The codex would give clues as to their origin. The officials inform him that the codex has been “cracked”. They have figured out that our young boy Tim-21 is apparently a close relation to the Harvesters. As it turns out, Dr Quon invented the Tim units as child companion bots.

They thought all the Tim units were dead, but after Tim-21 connected to the system, they were able to track him down and are now heading there with Dr Quon.

However, another more gnarly group has arrived ahead of them.
