It almost seems contradictory that on one hand, there is increased automation leading to job losses and (presumably) an over-supply of labour. While on the other hand, there is increased competition for talent.
Perhaps this means we’re not re-training people fast enough, or maybe it’s not possible to re-train people for the roles that are currently in-demand (& will continue to be in future)?
What’s your view?
