Awareness on being conned by life problem solvers
I was really moved by watching a recent video shared on whats app on how ignorant people are getting trapped by elements of deception. The URL link to that video follows after this paragraph. After my travel experiences in different countries, I was shocked to observe advertisements of scammers in free tabloids, newspapers and on TV. This time I decided that I must do something to increase awareness to global people not to fall into such deceptive traps. I’m thankful I found Medium
The article below is an excerpt from one of my books called It’s a wake up call from worldly influences.
Decades ago there existed street fortune tellers in India who had a captivated bird that would come out of a cage and pick out a card. The teller would read out the predictions on the card to the ignorant customer. Rural parts of South Asia still believe in fortune tellers and problem solvers. They still exist in better offices of modern cities and continue to post advertisements.
Most clairvoyants and psychics, now in upgraded versions are rejected species in urban parts of the Indian sub-continent. So, where are they now? There are marketing on the streets and on TV in greener pastures of the UK, Australia, Canada and America conning people by offering mystic products to solve general life problems of people. They offer solutions to problems in areas of finance, love/marriage, health, visa’s, etc. They are also in the form of tarot card readers, crystal ball analyzers, astrologers, psychics, babas’ [title given to a fake Hindu/Muslim/Buddhist religious man with special powers], tantriks’ [title given to a fake religious man with special powers of recitations] and palm readers who lure ignorant people to the future of solutions.
How did they get to western countries? Most probably through sponsorship of religious/cultural organisations and a religious status permit stamped in their passports that can even lead them to PR/Green Card status and eventually citizenship! I am not against religious organisations, but the way people misuse the government immigration privileges to enter and settle down in countries where they end up earning big bucks doing deceptive business.
Psychics have misused the titles of devi’s and pundits who actually are Hindu sanctified temple women and priests of a higher caste. It is reported that some of them in India have lured young women and girls into sexual acts by threatening and black mailing them. Some of such baba’s have been exposed and convicted too.
The truth is self styled god-men or god-women cannot expel fear. Instead they draw ignorant customers to be slaves to fear and other related issues. Almost everyone rich to poor are lured by various misleading prophesies they think is from God. Astrologers, problem solvers and fortune tellers are part of a money making racket. They could have proved their powers to solve major issues of the world for free and achieved great rewards like the noble peace prize — can they? Ignorant people are being misled by their appealing marketing presentations and false testimonies. Sometimes these distractions show temporal positive results which keep participants successfully attached to ungodly forces that do have limited powers. The more man gives in to demonic magnetism the farther it throws him back. Satan is a trickster; he invented deception and lies.
Calling spirits of the dead, speaking to evil spirits and other unnatural forms of gimmicks of things moving, spinning, grinding or flowing are all acts of satans supernatural powers believed and condemned by anyone who has complete knowledge of the Bible
