Andrew, I hear you. This is a little counterintuitive. First of all the bad sugar is refined sugar . . . that just kills the body. There’s something about fruit sugar though that is different. The body processes it differently. The main fruit we put in our smoothie is berries and they are the lowest glycemic. And then we are really loading up on the veggies. But nutritionists that I talk to say that sugar that comes from bread is worse than sugar that comes from fruit. So it’s a little more of an open topic then just “all sugars are bad.” I would say all refined sugars are bad.
