Joe [left] and Justin [right] debugging issues around the clock.

Hello world

Thanks to everyone who has been part of the Bunch beta testing program. We’ve been thrilled by the overwhelming enthusiasm and support we have received since we started the project 3 weeks ago. We’re excited to let you know that we’re going to submit to the app store soon. Please continue to send us feedback and any bug reports.

Julia testing on two devices to make sure the first time user experience works smoothly.

We pushed out a new build yesterday

  • Cancel count down has been fixed. Sometimes when you record a message and tap cancel, the button didn’t work. This should no longer have issues.
  • We’ve added a first time user experience. When a user creates an account for the first time, they will be greeted with some welcome videos to explain how Bunch works.
  • We removed the send-to-all feature. We decided as a team that send-to-all was spammy, and diminished the experience. Bunch was designed to be a personal messaging app, not a way to spam your friends. More on this later.
  • We’ve updated the Bunch homepage to reflect our new visual identity. We’ll be updating the app video before the launch… it’s just a place holder. Hah!
Heyo! That’s me. Thank you everyone for beta testing Bunch!

Our goal for today is to test the first time user experience and squash more bugs. Stay tuned for more updates. Xoxo.
