The easiest way I’ve found to introduce Medium (to clients, new writers, and friends/family) for me has been to say: “Think Twitter, but for more than 140 characters.” There are deeper nuances that distinguish Medium, but in essence it brings that democracy to all types of thoughtful writing.

It’s incredibly difficult to log into Medium to do work. Immediately, there are so many interesting stories to read, I immediately find myself saving 10 or so tabs to Pocket for reading later. (Note: If Medium had a “read later offline” button that synced between desktop and mobile… that would be delicious.)

Still trying to crack the code for responses though. Engagement, so far remains a challenge.
