I’m not suggesting that the Republicans don’t have the right to change the rules to eliminate the filibuster for Supreme Court judges.

But surely you’d agree that THEY said, over and over, that they don’t have the right to do so. Either they really believed it takes 67 votes to change the rules and are doing something that runs counter to their own conscience — or they were lying before and owe Democrats an apology for their comments in 2013.
