Testing 1,2,3…
I am never an active writer online or anywhere else. I thought I might get started now before I loose all my memory and hair even though I am just 25 this year. But life feels like it will get to you and you forget 99% of your life. So here I am, ready to start and hopefully this will stay.
Today, is a new start to my life in Dubai. I just moved into a way more affordable apartment and slowly sinking into the fact that it might not be ideal, but it’s the best of what the world has to offer to me right now. I am starting my own business on the side and working full time at an agency. Still trying to juggle that and starting a life in Dubai ie. it took us 6 months to find an apartment here.
When you live out of your country, you start comparing what you disliked about it. I love Singapore, my country, but the further I am from it the more I realise we had it much better. Just because we are so much smaller and easier to control.
We also just got a car, and driving on the highway stresses me out so much. The google maps give you 50% of the right direction, and the roads are build in a way that just doesn’t make any logical or practical sense. If you want to cross from one street to another, you would have to hop onto the biggest highways, make a U-turn and go back. That’s life.
One of my goals for 2016 is to find balance, in everything. Emotions, lifestyles, work, play.
That is all for now.
