I appreciate your well written response to the article, however, I would argue that women who “fight” in any war do not necessarily need to bear arms to do so. Each member of the intricate systems of the military serves a purpose to better support soldiers on the front lines. I am not negating your points about the Russian female battallions (of which I have no prior knowledge), but this aspect of your argument seems to detract from the otherwise strong conclusions you draw.
