The World Going Dark

Adrift, in an ocean of fabricated words,
The world going dark, is now obscured!
As some, fumble with their own apathy,
Drowning with that weight of unreality!

We’ve been beaten, broken and bruised,
Indiscretion we’ve surely been accused!
As now we must read between the lines,
Because we have mislaid all those signs!

Where to go, when every turn is wrong,
Having this feeling, we shall not belong!
As those hopes fail, one’s soul does cry,
Grasping to find candor in all these lies!

Futile words, they make no more sense,
Now exhausted, as we build that fence!
But it is all of humanity bears this loss,
As truth, has become that heavy cross!
