Angel Intervention: Don’t Tow Me

I was driving to meet my friends for lunch. I affirmed that I would get a great parking space.
As I came down the street, there was a nearly empty lot next to the restaurant.
I chose a spot far away from the pay booth, but next to the restaurant — a pizza place. As I pulled into that spot and got out, I saw a sign on the side of the pizza place about parking.
It said that they offered free parking down the street. I was a little suspicious. I didn’t really want to leave again and drive around only to find that the free lot was full or it was an old sign.
So I walked the 20 steps to go in and ask for further information about the free parking.
I was in there less than a minute.
Yet when I walked out, a tow truck was hooking my car up.
I couldn’t believe it. It was like a time warp. I was astounded not only about how quickly this all happened, but that someone would pounce on this opportunity.
I mean, all I did was walk away for a minute. So I explained this to the man doing the deed.
We explained both sides. He didn’t believe me. He said people took advantage of the lot all the time to come pick up their pizzas without paying.
I explained about the sign. I explained that I wasn’t there to pick up a pizza but to eat in. I just wanted more information. I wasn’t trying to take advantage. He didn’t budge.
I was exasperated, but then I became conscious. Wait. I can ask for help.
I turned my head away, taking a breath. I prayed silently:
Please help me!
This all took 10 seconds maybe. I turned my head back to him.
Without me saying another word, he said OK I believe you. Then he removed the hook. And he was gone as fast as he appeared.
I became conscious. I took a breath and stopped resisting the situation. I asked for help. And it was done.
Affirmation:
I appreciate that when I’m in alignment to truth — non-resistance to what is — that I am assisted.
We are all assisted when we let go of fighting and control.
