What is Imposter Syndrome?

Imposter Syndrome is the inability to enjoy success internally. It is often the albatross for powerful and accomplished women who feel they have somehow fooled their colleagues and supervisors into thinking they are competent. Casualties of Imposter Syndrome can become so crippled by their feelings of inadequacy that their job and mental health suffers.

Sufferers of Imposter Syndrome may constantly wonder when the jig will be up. When will their partners, bosses, and coworkers figure out that they have been faking it all along? Their imaginations are their greatest enemy, and they feel they are working in a house of cards that could collapse at any moment.
