Oklahoma City Thunder Part-Owner Dies

Aubrey McClendon, part-owner of the Oklahoma City Thunder basketball team, died in a single car accident. McClendon’s Chevy Tahoe hit a wall and immediately caught fire. He passed less than 24 hours since he had been indicted for rigging bids for oil leases.

Agreement between Martin and the Timberwolves is Met

Kevin Martin, a shooting guard, was able to make an agreement with the Minnesota Timberwolves over his buyout. Now, an approval is just being awaited by the league. Numerous teams, like the San Antonio Spurs, have already shown interest.

Blake Griffin Honored by Alma Mater

Blake Griffin, former basketball star of Oklahoma University, was overwhelmed when his jersey was retired. Griffin had been named the AP national player of the year during his time at the school. He is now a star player for the Los Angeles Clippers.
