I Found My Role Model Up In The Hill

Brad I love what you say here about goals: “The goals felt forced and tough to pin down. Right then I realized that this trip was about discovery. The realization I no longer needed those goals was like taking off that suit someone expected you to wear at that job they expected you to have.”
I believe that “goals” have become the new adult rubric. While there are times when they are necessary and helpful for us to stay focused, you remind me that when you are busy checking the boxes you tend to miss the good stuff. As someone who is actively working to balance my goals/to-do’s with being more present, this was a very timely post.
Thank you for sharing your story. I look forward to reading more.
