My alias, I am known as “Jennelectric” on social media platforms, even have my own website (Jennelectric.com). Unofficially, I am a Lifestyle Influencer, Blogger/Writer, STEM Mentor and Success Coach. Officially, I am a Professional Electrical Design Engineer in the Space Industry (aka NERD). I have worked in the “Aerospace & Defense” Industry my whole career, on a wide range of various projects (Missiles, Weapon Systems, Optical Seekers, and now—Space Satellites, primarily for NASA and USGS). My passion is to encourage and empower women of all ages and walks of life to pursue careers in Engineering, as well as guide them through their professional career. Graduating with your engineering degree is both an exciting and overwhelming time, as there is currently a lack of focus and resources for us Women Engineers that are either entry-level, or in the awkward “mid level” experience career stage.
