The Future of Work in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
Joi Ito

I often wonder what a world without work might look like. Perhaps we’d have more time for the arts, for entertainment, for literature and leisure. But I do worry about a lack of purpose. What is measured is what gets done. So how might we redefine success for the next generation of leaders and workers? And how do we measure character, kindness, collaboration toward the pursuit of the beloved community? I hope for a start, maybe we can stop celebrating wealth building in the media (ie: “top 50 most wealthy individuals”) and instead celebrate the stories of kindness, creativity and empathetic innovation.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
