Film-making:Dziga Vertov

Dziga Vertov was a soviet film/motion-picture director, whose camera work had an international impact on the development of documentaries and cinema realism during the 1920s. Vertov used the camera as if it was an extension to his own human eyes, that is best used to explore the actual movement of life. Vertov films take audience away from theater settings and artificial studio staging and towards the everyday movement of mankind. Vertov’s film; ‘The Man with the Movie Camera,’ display how he attempt to create a language that have never been seen before in film that capture real life. Vertov’s films like ‘The Man with the Movie Camera’ are one is his latest work that target life itself. Vertov films experiments with slow motion, camera angles, enlarged, close-ups, and crosscutting of objects and everyday events.
