March is a funky kind of month.
It isn’t a full month of winter nor is it a full month of spring, it is both and depending on which way Mother Nature turns is anyone’s guess. For me, March is the month that my son chose to come into my life. He was determined to be an April baby by my OBGYN and later discovered, by his weight and size, he should have been a February baby, so March he chose.
And as he would have it, March 16, 1993, the day Mother Nature decided to pummel us with a nor’easter that dumped 22 inches of snow on Pittsfield in 24 hours.
A storm that packed winds of up to 70 miles per hour, which helped create 10-foot snowdrifts, Alex surprised us with big brown eyes, 22 inches of length, 10lbs of weight and a Penis.
Yup, Alexandra became Alexander and that, my friends is how March rolls.
