You can’t reach for anything new if your hands are still full of yesterday’s mistakes….

Many times in our lives, we tend to regret some decisons and actions we’ve taken and it’s gotten to a point where we feel guilty about it.Do you believe you have done something that you can’t forgive yourself? Or God can’t forgive? Or maybe you realize He’s forgiven you, but you still struggle with forgiving yourself.

So many people are burdened with the pain of their past and wish they had done things differently. It could be things they regret saying, pain they caused others or decisions they made. And now they feel so much guilt and regrets which is almost ruining them. But the Bible tells us that…

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus.”(‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:1‬ ‭ASV)‬‬

God does not condemn us of the mistakes we make. Once you regret your actions and ask for forgiveness, He forgives and remembers our deeds no more. It’s also up to you to forgive yourself now!

God did not intend for us to carry around such heavy burdens. It’s the enemy of our souls that ties us down with such things in an effort keep us from living our lives in the freedom Christ offers and it hinders us from being all Christ calls us to be.

You are worthy of being loved..Because God Himself deems you worthy of being loved! Even when you feel unloved. Even when you really mess up.

““Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”‭‭. Isaiah‬ ‭43:18–19 NIV‬‬)

Dwelling upon past pains weighs us down and heavily burdens us. But God tells us in the scripture to forget those former things and not dwell on them, comes with a beautiful promise. Letting them go releases streams of living water into our life and enables God to do a new work in us.

Yes! You messed up! But the harm has already been done and you cannot do anything about it. It’s time up get up, pick up the pieces left, and embrace the promises God has in store for you. He says He’s about to do something new…

It’s is very sad how Christians have hatred for people especially the unsaved. Now, the Christian army is the only army in the world that slays its wounded. They are more concerned about appearance of Holiness than helping others.

Yes! God hates sin and the wrath of God abides upon Christ-rejecters (John 3:36) but let us never stray from God’s love for mankind, which allowed Christ to die on the cross for our sins. And one thing about Jesus was that anytime He came into contact with sinners, they never left the same. Don’t slay the already wounded..let’s help them recover!

It’s time to rise up! Enough of the guilt, regrets and mistakes! Get up and embrace the promises God has in store for you. You are a Victor and not a victim. I am excited about your future!!!!!
