In breaking news, Republican Candidate, Carly Fiorina, has dropped out of the presidential race one day after placing 7th at the New Hampshire caucus.

This news was released on February 10, 2016, in a statement by Fiorina on her Facebook page.

In her statement, she addresses how she isn’t going to sit down and supress her opinion despite suspending her candidacy.

“I will continue to travel this country and fight for those Americans who refuse to settle for the way things are and a status quo that no longer works for them,” she said.

Fiorina stated that she wants young girls and women to learn from this and not let others define them.

“A feminist is a woman who lives the life she chooses and uses all her God-given gifts. And always remember that a leader is not born, but made. Choose leadership,” she wrote.

She discussed her hopes for the future of America, “We must fix our festering problems by holding our bloated, inept government bureaucracy accountable,” she said.

As of now, Carly says she plans to spend time with her family and friends.

Fiorina states, “I will continue to serve in order to restore citizen government to this great nation so that together we may fulfill our potential.”
