Case study: browser payment input card with animation
Roman Kamushken

The animation is pretty smooth and definitely makes a normally mundane task into something with more user interaction.

Some things to consider:

  • Although it is very fun and nice to watch, there would be an extra barrier if auto fill does not work for this. I speak for myself and most users who don’t like to grab their credit card and manually input information each time I fill out payments online. I like having my browser autofill those selections.
  • Another action plan you should add, is to have error feedback. Right now, I can input random nonsense into each field and it would still proceed. Instead, if a user is typing in letters when they should be typing in numbers, the field should immediately have a red border (or something) to notify the user that this is not correct.
