Why not make the world a more beautiful place while purchasing beautiful jewelry? These five organizations use the proceeds from selling jewelry for great causes.

Mercy Ships

Mercy Ships offers free medical aid to people in poverty-stricken countries where doctors are sparse. They perform general surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, and eye care and dental procedures. Mercy Ships also offers training to local doctors and nurses.

Elegant and high-quality, Mercy Ships’ jewelry is made out of materials such as sterling silver, copper and leather. Prices range from $18–75.

World Help

World Help’s ministries include child sponsorships, emergency crisis aid, and giving long-term solutions to poverty such as livestock and vocational training. World Help is purposeful to share the Gospel wherever they serve.

World Help’s merchandise includes colorful and hand-crafted necklaces, scarves and earrings. Prices range from $10–30.

Save the Storks

Save the Storks loves and supports abortion-vulnerable mothers and their unborn children. Stork Buses offer free ultrasounds to pregnant women. According to their website, 4 out of 5 women choose to keep their baby after visiting a Stork Bus. Save the Storks also directs pregnant women to local pregnancy centers that offer helpful resources.

Save the Storks sells a cuff bracelet made out of aluminum, which doesn’t tarnish or discolor. This simple but elegant piece of jewelry is $10.

World Vision

World Vision gives immediate and long-term aid to those in poverty. Their ministries include child sponsorships, emergency crisis aid, and gifts of livestock.

World Vision’s hand-crafted merchandise includes earrings, bracelets, necklaces and scarves. (I realize scarves aren’t technically jewelry, but I’m including them since they’re important accessories.) Their scarves are made of silk and their jewelry is made out of silver, wood, turquoise and/or beads. Prices range from $45–100.

Amazon Smile

When you make purchases through Amazon Smile, Amazon donates 0.5% of the price of your purchases to the charity of your choice.

Amazon Smile sells pretty much anything legal — including many kinds of jewelry.
