Laura June, there are worse things than being old. To name a few that immediately come to mind: imprisoned, stupid, impoverished, unloved, terminally ill, or dead. Still, you have a point, being old sucks. Given a choice I’d prefer to be younger, but I have no choice and neither do you. I decided years ago not to grow old gracefully. I will go kicking and screaming, dressing inappropriately for my age, dying my gray hair ( maybe purple), and living in denial for as long as possible. Old age kills. Many people die of it. You’re right to be pissed about it. Fight for your youth and hang on to it as long as you can!
