By Saturday, my trip to London will be paid off (well the actual in-London spending part; see my Chase Visa for the flight/hotel monies) and I’m going to start throwing my 52 saving payment at my Chase Visa. I’ve been doing 1.5 the amount for the past two years, so 1x the amount will go to the Visa and .5x the amount will go to my travel savings (because I’m always ready to go somewhere!). Now, numbers!
DEBT
Chase Visa (10.15 APR)
March 2016 — $6707.46
April 2016 — $6588.51 (still over $6K, but less than last month for the first time in a while, so yeah)
SF Visa (11.76 APR)
March 2016 — $408.57
April 2016 — $80.96 (paying last payment on Saturday!)
Barclaycard (14.24 APR deferred until 8/21/16)
March 2016 — $290.54
April 2016 — $230.54 (I keep wanting to throw more money at this, but with the interest deferred, it doesn’t make sense. Slow and steady, blah blah blah)
SAVINGS
Emergency Fund (.75 APY)
March 2016 — $936.28
April 2016 — $1103.73 (finally over $1000!)
Insurance Fund (.75 APY)
March 2016 — $0.11
April 2016-$23.03
Travel Fund will resume contributions next month. And I’ll start saving a Fuck Off Fund as well. :)
