Let’s Throw Some Money at Our Problems: February 2017 Check-In
The Billfold

Debt is less than last month (by a bit) and savings is mostly up, so I’m calling it a win. Deciding not to go on an overseas vacation also takes a little pressure off. Thinking I might be debt-free by this time next year? LOL, okay, probably not.

Chase Visa (10.4 APR)
January — $5143.49
February — $4805.68

Emergency Fund (0.75 APY)
January — $835.10
February — $1,004.04

WHOOHOO! Finally have $1k in the bank and I’m not planning to raid it anytime soon!

Insurance Fund (0.75 APY)
January — $237.91
February — $359.73

Medical Fund (0.75 APY)
January — $0.06
February — $0.06

Stayed the same, but I used this savings to pay for my contacts and with one more payment tomorrow, they are PAID off my credit card. The system works!

Travel Fund (0.75 APY)
January — $0.02
February — $81.07

No trips on the horizon for now, so hoping I can build a nice nest egg this spring for some summer travel.
