Exactly! I was a bridesmaid in my best friend’s wedding when I was in college and it was going to cost me everything and then some (hello credit cards!) just to attend and buy the dress. I missed the bachelorette party and the bridal shower. I couldn’t afford to keep flying back across the country and she understood that. I was still able to wearing the matching dress in the photos and support my friend when she got married.
