A Holiday Treat Question of the Day

I have no willpower, so I try to never have candy in the house as there is usually plenty of it around work. Easter candy is my exception - I have a Cadbury Creme Egg problem and I don’t care.

I’ve never been coupled up on Valentine’s Day, so I find it to be a useless “holiday.” (Seriously, my “best” one was when I was 14 and my crush brought me yellow carnations to my house. I was elated until I realized he took red roses to my BFF’s house and asked her out.) Luckily, it’s a Sunday this year, so I can just continue with my life. Just like I ignored the Super Bowl last week, I shall be ignoring V-Day this weekend.

I may stop in Target/CVS/etc on Monday to see if they’ve discounted their candy as a treat for my students on Tuesday. My work BFF gave me a Grumpy Cat valentine yesterday and I’m sending her one today through campus mail, but it’s really a GALENTINE’S DAY card than a V-Day one. A much more important holiday, IMO.
