It’s upsetting to me that “kids these days” don’t send/receive postcards while they travel the way my friends and I did/do. I ask students to send us a postcard while they are studying abroad and it’s like I asked them to send me calculus homework or something. But I love my collection of postcards from around the world (both exotic and mundane places) and wish that for everyone!
