When I do order food (which I try to limit), I use EAT24, which is now owned by Yelp, so probably evil as well. But there is a LITTLE competition for Seamless (at least SF).

As someone who HATES using the phone, online ordering is just so much easier for me. I’m much more likely to patronize a restaurant that uses those services than not, so they’re getting dollars from me that they wouldn’t if I had to call and talk to someone. I doubt that makes that much difference to them though.

It’s also way easier to ensure that I ordered what I wanted when there isn’t a literal game of telephone happening during that process. Perhaps another start up will disrupt the Disrupters!
