Machine learning & AI as tools for polarization

While Machine learning is another name for statistics combined with computer science and engineering, AI will replace manufacturing and menial jobs including academic menial work tasks. These jobs replaced by machines will be replaced by new jobs guiding and developing machines, AI, design, and of course art.

The future effect on society is that menial jobs are taken by AI/robots. Society will defend itself and force manufacturers to create new jobs such as Robo-managers, droid-supervision/handlers, Robo-coders, Robo-teachers, design, and maintenance. This is just another step in the society’s evolution and a continuation of the development from an agrarian society to an industrial society, an information society, and an AI society.

The development phases are often categorized by some unrest when societies attempt to find a proper development speed and companies as well as states figures and calculates on politicians’ usual “stick or carrot policies”. As people or voters generally dislike societal or developmental intrusions into their lives, there will some unrest. Also in these phases, new technology can be used for societal polarization to pit one group against another group.

Current political polarization is the result of many power-players wrestling for power. Political division is useful in democracies if you can cut the voters into controllable parts and maintain the parts at 45–45 with you having a relative 10 and thus may control who is in charge, perhaps through your…
