Today is the last day of our 10 day Xams and new year holiday! We took Pocoyo for a hair cut that was long overdue.
We took Pocoyo to the Eleen’s. Eleen is a popular Malaysian hairdresser living and working in the northern part of the city. She works in a local hair salon while started her own business in her garage. Pocoyo had had his first hair cut with her while he was still a baby and we’ve been coming back to her since then.
Eleen was skilful with young kids. Hair cut for Pocoyo used to be a dreadful time of kicking and screaming but look how ready he was now!
Pocoyo used to sit on my lap for his earlier hair cuts. Now he could sit by himself. Eleen had a thick mat to prop Pocoyo up and a gown for kids.
At this point, a digital babysitter a.k.a. the youtube kids app on phone or ipad was called in — a 10 minute video would keep Pocoyo nicely occupied so Eleen could have her job done.
Just look at how engaged Pocoyo was with the video in front of him!
