BRAINSTORM

Individual Idea Generation:

How might we design a wallet that can easily be carried around.

New Warm-Up Game:

Break the Wall — The objective of this warm-up game is to push your opponent over without moving your feet away from the tape marker on the ground. Below are Carley (left) and Sam (right) demonstrating the game:

Session Organization:

The people I planned to gather for this session could not make it so I improvised and found random students on my floor — thus I do not remember all of their names. We started the session with the warm-up activity I came up with followed by the random words activity from class. We took about 20 minutes to come up with 28 ideas. When I calculated the group’s IPM at the end, it was roughly 0.35

Sorting and Voting:

As a group, we looked at all of our ideas that were taped up and saw that there were several common themes. We then moved each idea into categories we thought were appropriate. For the voting process, each person went around and put a checkmark on their favorite ideas.
