It wouldn’t be ironic if you saw what you were doing. Like if you saw that the con wasn’t apolitical before — you just don’t recognize your own politics when surrounded by it as fish don’t know that they’re wet. There wouldn’t be such bold irony if you realized that you’re asking for a space that is safe from wrong think while claiming that those politics are an affront to your delicate sensibilities.

One might say you’re “triggered.”

That’s the irony part. It’s funny in a not-altogether-funny way, if you think about it.
