Seeing Vanity

Self Reflection through external sensory inputs

Looking at your reality as a mirror may or may not be true and it allows us to exam our behaviors and grow because of the clarity. The definition of Vanity from Dictionary.com is

excessive pride in one’s appearance, qualities, abilities, achievements, etc.; character or quality of being vain; conceit: or,

an instance or display of this quality or feeling.

something about which one is vain or excessively proud:

lack of real value; hollowness; worthlessness:

something worthless, trivial, or pointless.

Vanity and gluttony are much different in principle. Being humble, listening more often, and making decisions that help you feel fulfilled will help you begin to see the world is full of vain. There are moments of clarity usually through failure I realize I have the ability to reshape the basic building blocks of my being.

Glutton is regarded as a sin, vanity is temporary glutton of the complete ego. In a lot of aspects the most successful people have to go into a place of gluttonous creation to move past the current problem they feel inspired to change. In my reality learning to listen to myself sometimes is the hardest part of my reality because I can see so many different view points like a color wheel. We all see duality as a contrast in color when maybe they are just aren’t complimentary.

What makes a human computer so perfect?

When you look beyond the black and white of life you begin to see color. All the people, things, and places you go can take on a life of their own. All of them can be categorized into colors. What those colors mean to any one individual or groups of people can change and when we stitch all the desperate connotations of words together we can change the world because we can relate better.

I see a world we all are able to be honest and not attacked or shunned for what we believe in and how we are. We all can combat vanity inside ourselves and forgive others for the same vain. When we recognize something we have the power to change it. It is why we all control our own realities indirectly.

Cheers,
