The MPAA rated The Breakfast Club R for drugs and profanity. I think this rating is absurd because the movie is so realistic to high school. How can they restrict high schoolers from watching a movie about high school?
The profanity is minimal compared to what high schoolers actually use, and the drug use is just a device for the director to break the tension in the room. I believe the movie should of been rated PG 13.
