Edmodo was founded by Nic Borg and Jeff O’Hara in 2008.
Edmodo is a web-based platform that provides a safe and easy way for your class to connect and collaborate, share content, and access homework, grades and school notices.
Using Edmodo, students and teachers can reach out to one another and connect by sharing ideas, problems, and helpful tips. A teacher can assign and grade work on Edmodo; students can get help from the entire class on Edmodo.
The teacher can post lessons and discussions and students can easily download them. The students can also post their thoughts, share them to teachers and other students in the group or class.
