Jeremy Abelson is originally from San Mateo, CA and graduated from The University of Michigan. He is the Founder and Portfolio Manager of Irving Investors. His career started in advertising, which led to several start-ups in the digital media sector. A successful exit in 2009 led to the launch of Irving Investors.

As a crossover fund, Irving primarily invests in public equities while also investing in late-stage ventures. Jeremy combines his entrepreneurial experience with institutional investing to identify disruptive and long-term opportunities. With a background in operations, Jeremy uses a single name strategy across asset classes and applies a venture approach to public markets.



It is Jeremy's goal to build meaningful relationships within the company. In addition to investing in Irving's portfolio companies, he has also taken on board seats with two of them.

Jeremy is active in many philanthropic organizations. Cherry Hills Police Department Foundation was founded by him, he serves on the Junior Board (2221 Society) of Children’s Hospital Colorado, he sits on the Blue Sky Fund board, he is on the AIR Society at National Jewish Health and is an active member of AIPAC.

Many television shows and publications have featured Jeremy Abelson as an expert, including Fox Business News, CNN, CNBC, The Today Show, Good Morning America, The NYTimes, The Wall Street Journal, and The NYPost.
