Are you that stupid? If you are anti American then by all means leave out under God. That is part of the pledge. It doesn’t matter what religion you are, or not, freedom of religion is not freedom from religion. I will agree no one prayer should be lead in schools, however if a child wants to pray for 30 seconds in the morning, then have at it. There is no accommodation for any religion in this country other than muslim right now. How the hell did that happen. My opinion on religion is simple are government protects freedom to worship, religion. The Constitution does not protect governing ideology, Jewish law or muslim law or any other for that matter. The Constitution was written with Christian values, like it or not it is a fact, the freedom of religion that was intended was to prevent Catholic rule. The Constitution is a living document and does protect other religions, nothing in it says that no exposure to Christianity or any other religions is promised. All you dumb ass feelings on your sleeves that are scared of getting some Christian on you need to be more secure in your beleif. I promise you you can talk about how wrong everyone is and not change my mind. Here is the thing there is a long standing beleif that transcends cultures saying homosexuals are unnatural, no one said they can’t be gay. I and many people that believe in freedom don’t care what goes on in there bedroom just don’t want it taught to our kids as ok, and don’t believe a term that is offensive when applied, to every major religion, should be used that is marriage. Civil union with all same benefits is fine, but not marriage at least not to the point of church wedding goes. What is the difference in one person’s rights over another? Freedom to be is one thing, forcing your will on another is different. Not every person that disagrees with your point of view is closed minded some have different prospective’s. Everyone’s rights have to be protected.
