Dear Oheine,
I found this article very helpful because I think you are on the right track when it comes to achieving your goals. They must become habits and ongoing because otherwise you will not to anywhere if you keep them as resolutions. I also thought they were the same thing until I realized that they are quite different. There’s a huge difference between something that is true or not and then something that actually happens. You need to be ambitious and work hard in order to achieve your goals because otherwise your goals will never be accomplished. I’m actually quite pleased that you came up with reasons to pursue your goals because usually a lot of things are left unsaid or undone and we are human so we do tend to forget on a lot of things. It’s part of human nature to move on. Goals need to become a habit. You are also right about how there needs to be a consistency in our actions. It’s more important to just do instead of just being a bystander. It’s very important that we keep to our goals and also learn from the previous year. Even if last year wasn’t a success or we had a lot of misery and pain, we still need to remember the past so we can learn from our mistakes and move on with the future.
