Quantum computing and search

It makes sense why Google is so excited about quantum computing, seeing that it could speed up search results by millions of times. However, quantum computers will also bring about reverse engineering of the “weak non-quantum” search results.

A quantum attack on a non-quantum search result will be easily reverse engineer. Google, facebook, etc., who rely on their search algorithms NOT getting hacked, will have to create new quantum search results and undoing the vast speed gains anticipated (after some brief honeymoon period with quantum computer when all things work as imagined).

Also, just as a side note, the simultaneous emergence of quantum computing and AI, along with an ever-more-computer-dependent-world, is a bit disconcerting.
