4 Apps to Improve Your Productivity
I often find myself suggesting apps to friends and coworkers. I typically can’t help but bring up a suggestion when I see someone trying to figure out a problem when there is an easy app solution. The apps below are my go-to solutions that I’m guessing most people could use to make their lives easier.
1. Office Lens
This is a simple tool that can have a profound impact on your productivity. If you ever jot notes on a whiteboard, this app will make your life much easier by allowing you to snap a photo and digitize the whiteboard. If you use the Office suite, your life gets even easier with OneDrive and OneNote integration. With OneNote, the text is even searchable! Besides whiteboards, you can also scan documents and business cards.

2. Todoist
There are a ton of task management apps out there, but Todoist is my personal favorite due to a few key features. The biggest differentiator is that Todoist allows for prioritization of tasks without having to create a workaround. The next biggest difference is that it’s everywhere. It integrates with a ton of other apps, and there is even a browser extension that lets you turn an email into a task. Recently, they’ve added an Alexa skill so you can make changes to your to-do list by speaking to your Echo.

3. Word Flow, SwiftKey, or Gboard
If you are using the stock keyboard on iOS, you are really missing out. All of these keyboards offer swipe-to-type and improved text prediction. Word Flow even offers one-handed typing.

4. Microsoft Authenticator or Google Prompt
While these apps won’t directly make you more productive, they will make logins faster and more secure, which can help you avoid losing access to your accounts. They are both easy ways to set up two-factor authentication so that only you can access your accounts by approving your logins with your mobile device. Microsoft Authenticator even allows you to skip entering a password and just use the app instead.

I hope you find this list helpful. Let me know if you have suggestions for me as I love learning about new tech.
