Interesting read. I tend to listen to audio and video on 2x speed when possible too. Here’s a counterpoint — it’s basically the idea that as word speed increases, both clarity and precision (for the speaker) and comprehension (for the listener) declines. I guess sort of like speed reading. I’m worried that trying to speed up human interactions is submitting to the tyranny of busyness in our world today.
