It’s your final point I find most disturbing. You did a good job proving Trump is a Fascist. What scares me, as you mention, is he’s so blatant and over the top about it it’s hopefully turning most people off. What happens when the next politician picks up the mantle, but does it in a softer tone? Thinking of the Le Pen clan here. The father was too rough for most French. His daughter, though, is more appealing to them because she’s not as rough on the edges. We could easily experience something similar here in the not-too-distant future.

We need to keep in mind, the Fascists take power by force. Even in Germany, it was force which led to elections. They never won over 35% of the vote, yet turned the country into a continent destroying monster.
