I hope you are listening…

Sometimes things are not worth figuring out...

As a person that uses data for a living that might be a bit backward but some things should be left with faith. Shortly after my father in law passed I had a conversation through facebook with my brother in law. I just felt like I can help him. I knew he was angry and hurt. I felt like I owed it to Senior to try. It was a pride sucking and forgetful conversation. I felt like his punching bag, but I took the road less traveled. The road that will heal and not divide like he was trying to do- purposeful or not. Let me take a step back to give a bit of context. Romi had just left with Lori, my youngest daughter and my mother in law (Angelina) to help Angelina get things sorted out. It had been 3 days without them. I was incredibly sad.

So today, I have been working with Lori and Romi to plan our trip to have a celebration of life for him. This is what they sent me.

My brother in law wrote the above…

Then I see the below text…the exact quote I used to describe the approach to deal with him

See the Quote above
“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” Martin Luther King Jr.

Are you listening Senior? If so, I will try to live this quote for you…
