
The states that offer better education and health care have more opportunity and lower rates of incarceration and less corruption. It is not the politicians from the best states that are arguing that each state should design its own health care plan. No, it’s the politicians from the worst states, the most corrupt states, that want to eliminate the Affordable Care Act and give the money to the states. This is such a sad state of affairs that will only promote inequity and ignorance.
Bottom line here is Mr. Trump said a whole lot during the campaign. He talked about being a populist, he talked about taking on special interests, he talked about fighting lobbyists, and yet the initial indications that we are seeing is that not much of what he talked about during the campaign has much to do with where he is today.
