…Or You Could Do Nothing…

All throughout life, we’re told to “play it safe.” Go to college and get your degree, a steady job that pays you regularly, start a savings account so you can have money for retirement. Fuck that…

You see Brosephine Baker, safe is definitely the way to go, but the playbook that we were given is not about safety for you. Unfortunately, we were raised in a society that teaches people that the safe thing to do is to blindly follow the status quo.

For the most part that’s ok. That’s why we have laws. But the thing is, laws are made so people can follow a specific standard, but if you want to make an impact in any meaningful way, you have to do more than simply follow the status quo.

Doing nothing when it comes to your goals is the worst thing you can do because it’s cowardly. I know from personal experience that it’s better to deal with someone who is willing but has no experience in doing something over someone who has all the experience in the world but is afraid to make any measurable action.

I’ve made it so simple for you. I write these daily emails so that you can be encouraged and I’ve just opened up a fitness studio not too far from your house. You trust me, so all it takes now is for you to make the decision to stop trying to do it on your own.

I believe in you, but you have to first believe in yourself. And it all starts with doing more than nothing.

P.S. I know it’s tough to do something different. I spent 10 years doing the same thing, knowing that I needed to do something different and I still didn’t make the change I needed to. But you’re different. You have help and someone that believes in and supports you. July 8th (Saturday) at 6 PM I’ll be leading a discussion at my studio that may change your life. If you’re ready to do that, then message me back here so I can count you in. Talk soon…
