Beautiful piece. I truly believe in the underlying message behind Bernie’s vision and our collective challenge, as you well articulate. I have shared as much with others, while capitulating to the possibility that he may not be the one to lead us outright. That said, the message still holds strong, whether he is our leader or Clinton is, or worse, one of the other guys is. Local political activity–inclusive of humility, compassion and respect–will be the only way we save our country from the devil in politics. Also, what a perfect concluding quote from the Rabbi!
