Inspiration at last — MEMB chapter 7
So after waking up at 3:30am after only 4 hours sleep I finally got inspiration for chapter 7 of My End and My Beginning.
Those of you that are following it will be dismayed to hear that I barely wrote 150 words of chapter 7 before losing all inspiration of where to go with it. I simply couldn’t decide what path to take her on.
Now I have inspiration, I’m going to start writing this afternoon, fingers crossed it flows well, I hope you all will be happy with the concept I’m going to go with, it’s a bit different, we will see lol.
I’d also like to remind you of my Flash Fiction comp entry and once again ask those that haven’t already done so to go read and review my entry please. It’s would be greatly appreciated as the prize money is pretty awesome!

Free Open University — Start Writing Fiction course:
This evening I came across the above course, available for free thanks to futurelearn.com.
At first I was hesitant, I’m pretty sceptical when it comes to getting something for free, I mean let’s face it, it rarely happens. But after looking into it a bit more I found that, it is a genuine module from an Open University course (essentially offered for free as a taster).
So I decided, hey it’s free, the worst that can happen is that I walk away none the wiser, which is unlikely considering how green I am in this field. I wanted to share it so that anyone else that hasn’t yet come across it wanted to give it a try.
The online course starts at the end of October and lasts for eight weeks, requiring three hours of your time a week. There are still spots free so if you’re interested go take a look!

Flash fiction contest — Call to arms!
I’ve entered contestfiction.com’s September flash fiction competition. The prize for first place is $500 and it is judged by you guys, the readers. So I would really appreciate it if you followed the link below and took a few minutes to register and give an honest review of my entry.
