Artworks selected by #ArtProject and project curator Jessica Angel will be exhibited globally at the ETHDenver 2021 Virtual MakerSpace. Your artwork will be featured in both the AR ART MONITOR MAGAZINE in 2D form and as a AR-projection in the space in front of the publication. The audience will have the possibility to examine the object or can walk around it using the device.

A Hackathon for Experimental Minds and Creative Programming
Kusama is a wild and fast-moving network, launched in 2019 as an early version of Polkadot, a next-generation sharded blockchain network. Both support interchain communication, collaboration and shared security, with an architecture consisting of a relay chain that interacts with sharded chains running in parallel, known as parachains.
Hackusama is the first-ever hackathon for the Kusama and Polkadot ecosystem. The hackathon is split up in two categories: Build a Blockchain and an Open Hack — there is ample room for creativity.
#ArtProject Decentralized is a community of artists, technologists, collectors, curators, and programmers who live and interact in a Telegram channel. The collective is born after a necessity to interact with people from different fields to explore the convergence between art and blockchain. This group of like-minded people gather in hackathons, and events via calls by artproject.io generating unexpected connections that result in prosperous collaborations. …

Bounty Deadline: January 15, 2020
We are excited to announce that ETHDenver will be sponsoring an Art Bounty at the MakerSpace 2020. Directed by visual artist Jessica Angel and the #ArtProject Decentralized community, the MakerSpace team will foster creative ways of hacking by supporting projects and people who want to expand the horizon of a traditional BUIDLathon, or hackathon, by experimenting with art and blockchain.
The MakerSpace was born at ETHDenver 2018 in response to a collective interest in experimenting with art and technology to enable the creation and exploration of art through the lens of blockchain technology. …
For a second year in a row the #Artproject Decentralized community and Truebit, with the support of the Foundation of Art and Blockchain and the Codex Protocol, gathered a group of artists, developers, and hardware engineers. Together, we took over the top floor of the Sports Castle during the 36 hour hackathon, to celebrate the intersection between blockchain and creative matters. I was thrilled to once again, bring my vision and direction to this experiment that combines education, art, and computer science, to explore blockchain through the lens of creativity.
The MakerSpace featured a series of talks, workshops, performances, and art installations, bringing to ETHDenver a breath of fresh, fun, and creative air. …
Autonomous computer generators have been in the imagination of different people in the blockchain ecosystem such as Trent McConaghy and Simon de la Rouviere. Check out this edited transcript of an interview with them. They explore AI art in convergence with DAOs, a powerful combination that Truebit is capable of fostering by conducting heavy or more complex computations than is possible within current gas limits. Truebit is aiming to powering these self-governing creative systems and allowing them to take on a life of their own.
The #ArtProject Decentralized community and Truebit, supported by the Foundation of Art Blockchain, are setting a MakerSpace for the Ethereal Summit. This year, we are inviting a group of AI developers, artists, and curators, to foster a series of intimate round-table discussions bringing the concept of Unstoppable Art to the table. We are interested in exposing different views on this subject and evaluate the necessary elements to put these machines together to service the community. …

If you are looking for off-chain computation solutions for your decentralized applications, look no further. This is an opportunity to create your first Truebit task and further explore the computational boost Truebit provides. This first task will serve as your starting point to generate computer processed images that can be autonomous. Or, if you want to focus this task on a specific need you have, feel free to do it. Our devs will be full time at our geodesic dome on the sixth floor to assist you.
The Bounties Network will award $15 USD to each of the first 10 apps built using Truebit. …
