The Buffalo Exception

Have you heard of The Buffalo Club? It’s the drinking game taking college campuses (at least some fraternities, anyway) by storm, and developing a cult following worldwide. For those who aren’t yet privy to this delightfully alcoholic trend, The Buffalo Club demands, in a nutshell, that: (a) members must always drink alcoholic beverages with their left hand; and (b) if caught drinking an alcoholic beverage with their right hand by other members — who gleefully shout “BUFFALO” upon observation of the rule-breaking act — they must chug the drink as fast as they can.

But there’s an exception, recently recognized by a growing number of Buffalo Club chapters, that’s linked to a delicious and deserving beer: the aptly named Left Hand Milk Stout. This beer is deemed an “immunity beer”; members who drink this beer can drink it with either hand. Think of it as catching a Star in Super Mario World, or performing a sweet hack in Counterstrike. You’re unstoppable, Brah.

TLDR: drink more Left Hand Milk Stout, get less Buffalo’ed!
